What Remains Is Her is a quiet, dignified space for women 45+ who’ve left emotionally unsafe long marriages and now feel lost, unsafe, and unsure who they are without the role they played for everyone else. You’ve spent years reading the room, keeping the peace, holding it all together—yet when you turn that awareness back toward yourself, you don’t know where to start. All you know is that there has to be more to life than this.

Two years ago, that was me. At the end of a 26-year marriage, I felt broken, ashamed, and completely disconnected from who I was. Everyone around me seemed to expect I would just “get on with it,” but something in me refused to believe that my only option was to accept my story and carry on. Life felt too short for that. I wanted more for myself than simply surviving what had happened.

So I did what I knew how to do: I went inward. I read the books, took the courses, sat with the hard questions—and from all of that, I started creating the workbooks I wish I’d had back then. Workbooks that start where you really are. Workbooks written by someone who “gets it,” who’s been there and is still learning and growing. No “go girl” hype, no group sharing, no performance—just guided tools that let you use the emotional skills you’ve always had, but this time for yourself.

My work is about giving you tools for the inside work: helping you accept what has happened, understand how it has left you, and gently change the way you see your past so it no longer defines you. You can’t rewrite what was done to you, but you can rewrite the meaning it holds in your life—so your attention and energy can move from regret and self-blame toward quietly rebuilding a life you would love to live, and truly believe you deserve.
