You know you are capable. You have been nursing for a while now and you know BS when you see it. You have worked with good leaders and with those who are unworthy of thier position. And you know you can do it better. You know that you can really show up for your team. Or for another team. But in a real way. You are not going to hide in the office. Or make excuses about a gazillion unnecessary meetings that no one cares about. you lead with service. You know that your nurses at the patient bedside relay on your experience. On that process you put in place. that ready made kit for that rare and unclear situation that freaks everyone out. It is you that they seek. You that they trust. And it will be you that will show up for them. And it is us, as a community, that will show up for you. Being you support. Your sounding board.  This is where you build friendships out side of your circle. They is were you come to seek advice. To celebrate a win. And to get encouragement when it all seems so hopeless.  And together, we will find, nourish and celebrate the leader in you. And when you got this locked and loaded, you will pay it forward.  Let's improve health care. By showing up. If all this seems corny to you, it's fine. We will be here when you come around. Because I really don't know any other way.
