About
Hey! I'm happy you're here 🥳 I created these challenges because I know how transformative the practice can be - not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. I love the physical practice because it challenges me in ways that go beyond the mat. It teaches patience, discipline, and resilience. Every practice is an opportunity to face the discomfort, build strength, and learn to move with grace - even when things feel uncertain. But more than anything, the physical practice is a mirror. It reflects back how we handle frustration, fear, and self-doubt, and it gives us a chance to rewrite those patterns. Most importantly, you carry these lessons off the mat too. I must say, I’ve become a lot more resilient and better at handling challenges that come my way because of it. That’s why these challenges are about more than just nailing the poses - they’re about how we navigate obstacles and grow through them. The physical practice is a gateway to deeper inner work. My goal with these challenges is to help you build consistency, develop a stronger connection with your body, and shift your mindset so you can show up for yourself—on and off the mat. Here are some mindset shifts that changed my life & I hope they help you too: 1️⃣ Detach from the outcome, fall in love with the process. Progress isn’t always linear, and every step forward (or backward) is part of the journey. Celebrate the effort, not just the results. 2️⃣ Embrace your struggles as opportunities for growth. Frustration is a natural part of the journey - use it to learn, evolve, and discover what it has to teach you. 3️⃣ Progress is not always linear. Some days you’ll feel strong, and other days you won’t. That doesn’t mean you’re not improving. Trust the process, even when it doesn’t feel like it. 4️⃣ Your mindset shapes your practice. If you believe something is impossible, your body will follow. But if you approach challenges with curiosity instead of doubt, you’ll surprise yourself. 5️⃣ Rest and stillness are part of the practice. Growth happens in the moments of recovery too. Listen to your body, honour its needs, and remember that progress isn’t just about pushing harder - it’s also about knowing when to pause. Yoga isn’t just about what happens on the mat - it’s about who you become because of it. Keep showing up, keep learning, and trust the process. Always rooting for you. 💪🏼 Love, Jyan
