AI Security is an emerging and evolving topic. Enterprise and SMEs processing private data are looking to deploy GenAI apps without being fully aware of the scope that needs to be protected. We will explore how things can go wrong and ways we can mitigate these risks. Alan is currently a Director of Partnership at AIFT where he oversees the cybersecurity business in the GCC region focusing on AI / LLM security. He is a software engineer by training with decade long experience working in regulated enterprises. He has previously led engineering teams at OneDegree Hong Kong, an insurance company, where he shipped an LLM-assisted claims engine and "almost" shipped a customer-facing chatbot.
