🌿 WEEK 1 — THE FIELD EYE: SEE LIKE A BIRDER

Focus: Understanding bird behavior, habitat, and timing.

👁️ Learn to see like a wild birder — to anticipate behavior, use light to your advantage, and capture stories in motion. This week is about tuning your instincts, patience, and perspective so every frame feels alive.

🎓 Masterclass 1: Field Vision & Composition — Shooting with Instinct and Patience
Led by a leading wildlife photographer, you’ll master field awareness, composition, and the ethics of respectful wildlife photography. Includes a special segment: “Gear for Asian Conditions” — how to adapt to tropical light, wetlands, and forests.

📸 Your Task: Create a 3-photo “Behavior Series” showing real bird actions — flight, feeding, or interaction — with short captions describing each story moment.

🦉 WEEK 2 — FROM SHOT TO STORY

Focus: Building emotion, flow, and conservation narrative.

💡 Move beyond single photos — learn to craft stories that move people. You’ll discover how to weave emotion, setting, and conservation meaning into a visual sequence that speaks louder than words.

🎓 Masterclass 2: Storytelling for Bird Photographers — Turning Frames into Feelings
Your mentors will guide you through sequencing, rhythm, and emotional arcs, showing how powerful stories are built frame by frame. Real case studies from published bird stories will inspire your creative approach.

📖 Your Task: Produce a 5-photo “Mini Bird Story” — a visual narrative with short captions and a clear theme that ties your work to behavior, place, or purpose.

🎨 WEEK 3 — FIND YOUR SIGNATURE

Focus: Editing, tone, and artistic identity.

🌈 This is where craft meets creativity. You’ll uncover your unique visual voice — the color, tone, and style that makes your work instantly recognizable.

🎓 Masterclass 3: Defining Your Style — Editing Workflow & Visual Voice
Learn professional editing workflows, color grading, and mood building with Lightroom or Capture One. Join a live peer collaboration session to refine your look and get personalized mentor feedback.

🖋️ Your Task: Re-edit one of your old photos using your new signature style. Share your before-and-after transformation along with a short reflection on what defines your identity as a Wild Birder.

🌏 WEEK 4 — MAKE IT MATTER

Focus: Impact, visibility, and creative growth.

🚀 Your final week takes you from creation to recognition. Discover how to share your work with the world, grow your audience, and use your art to make a difference for birds and their habitats.

🎓 Masterclass 4: Becoming a Recognized Wild Birder — Publishing, Collaborations & Conservation Impact
Learn insider strategies for pitching to magazines, NGOs, and global platforms. Mentors will reveal how to build partnerships and connect storytelling to conservation impact.

📂 Your Task: Build your “Wild Birder Portfolio” — a polished, story-driven project or deck (6–8 slides/images) ready to pitch to editors, exhibitions, or collaborations. This is your creative passport to the next stage of your journey.
