In this 7-day challenge, you’ll capture wildlife including birds, insects, and other species that thrive in your garden or nearby surroundings. With checkpoints, resources, and a final online workshop, this challenge helps you sharpen your skills, celebrate nature, and share your story with a global community.

To capture stunning wildlife photos, you don’t always need a safari. Hidden beauty surrounds us in our gardens and local environments. You just have to look closer. This challenge encourages you to find, document, and celebrate the wild side of your everyday surroundings.

🚀  Challenge Start

The challenge officially begins on day 1. From this day forward, you’ll be guided step-by-step through checkpoints, resources, and daily goals. All images must be captured during the challenge period, so get ready to explore your surroundings and start fresh with your camera!

🎯 Challenge Goals

• Capture unique photographs of local birds, insects, and wildlife.
• Enhance your wildlife photography skills through daily practice.
• Build awareness of biodiversity in your home environment.
• Foster a deeper connection to nature and conservation.

📅 Daily Flow & Checkpoints

Day 1 – Kickoff (First Check Point: 08th Nov / Saturday)

• Receive your downloadable Challenge Pack with guidelines.
• Learn techniques for observing and photographing wildlife at home.
• Get inspired for the week ahead.

Day 2–5 – Explore & Capture

• Explore your garden or the nearby surroundings.
• Identify active spots for birds and other wildlife.
• Upload 3 daily photos (must be taken during the challenge).
• ⚠️ Note: Only photos captured during the challenge period will be accepted. Original files may be requested for verification. Please begin capturing images starting from Day 1 of the challenge onwards.

Day 6 – Curate & Submit (02 check point: 14th Nov / Friday )

• Review your week’s photos.
• Select your top 3 images for final submission.
• 🖼️ Editing Guidelines: Spend time on only the necessary, minimal edits when creating your final images. ❌ Do not use AI enhancements or recreations. All photos must be original, with only light post-processing allowed to highlight your own creativity and talent.
