About Challenge

21-Day Somatic Reset Challenge .


Do you feel you're close to burnout and overwhelm? Exhausted but can't seem to actually rest? Tense in some areas of your body? Do you you find yourself in a constant mental freeze/flight/fight mode? This practice is here just for you.


This somatic reset is NOT a physical workout, instead, it is a practice to attain and sustain mental calmness and physical vitality in your everyday life. This will be your anchor, especially during this time of collective shaking and uncertainty.


In 21 days, you will go through 3 stages focusing on breathwork which is a very important key component of the entire practice. As you re-train your breath in 11 days, you will notice mind and body awareness. You will begin to notice your mind trickling down into calmness, your body relaxing and softening. Once the body and mind is calm and stable, gentle movement and deeper meditation is integrated for a full spectrum of healing and transformation. ✨


Some days will feel easy, other days may feel challenging - all of it is part of the process. This is where we will help and guide you. Allow your breath to be your anchor, and give yourself permission to move at your own pace.


With discipline and dedication, you will come out of this 21-day challenge CALM, STABLE with VITALITY, and on your way to THRIVE in life!

21 days. 3 stages. 8 checkpoints, 60-90 minutes each.



Required props:

  • Yoga Mat (Alternative: Thick blankets or towels)
  • Yoga Bolster (Alternative: Rolled-up thick blankets | Thick pillows | Cushions)
  • DIgital Timer (Alternative: smart phone timer)


Optional props, but good to have:

  • Eye mask | Scarf | Scarf | Bandana
  • Yoga Blocks
  • 2-3kg Sand bag | Rice bag

Instructions

Challenge Mechanics:

  1. Unlock the checkpoints and browse through the topics.
  2. Attend the online sessions and learn the practice. Alternatively, watch the Zoom video recording which will be made available after the checkpoint session ends.
  3. Fill in the questionnaire form.
  4. Download the audio/video recordings, if any. As you practice on your own, listen to the audio files on your laptop or mobile devices.
  5. Practice, practice, practice. Feel free to ask questions in our chat group.
  6. As you complete your practice the day before the next checkpoint, mark the checkpoint as "Complete", with the thought in mind, "Honesty is the best policy." 😇
  7. Enjoy each day as you progress through the challenge checkpoints.


The person who has accumulated the highest # of points will WIN and claim the price after challenge has ended.


Note that we will focus on breath training in the first half of the challenge. Gentle movement will be integrated in the second half where most/all of the props will be used and will be very helpful for you.


SUNDAY checkpoints are main components where we slowly integrate each key component of the somatic practice.


WEDNESDAY checkpoints are mostly check-ins with everyone in the group. We will go through Q&A sessions, some walk throughs of the practice, and even practice together if needed.
