Hi, I’m Ankita Johal 👋 A Leadership & Communication Coach passionate about helping ambitious women and professionals transform from self-doubt and burnout to self-worth and balance.
For 15 years, I’ve helped individuals become more confident speakers, stronger leaders, and calm, grounded professionals. However, this mission began with my own story.
I’ve walked this path myself.
There was a time when I was constantly struggling and was unable to balance my career with my personal life. In that phase of my life, I truly believed I was doing everything right; showing up at work, earning well, saying yes to every opportunity. But somewhere deep inside, I knew something was missing.
Every day felt like a performance on repeat. I longed to do something meaningful, and quietly, I had begun dreaming about creating something of my own. But I didn’t realize that sometimes, to build something meaningful, you first have to let yourself break.
My job had started consuming me, and not in a good way. I was constantly on edge, snapping over small things, and feeling more disconnected each day. I knew I didn’t belong there anymore, yet I kept showing up, driven by fear of losing the stability I had built.
Then one day, life decided for me. I got laid off.
It felt like a strange mix of emotions; a little broken, yet strangely relieved. I was free, but also anxious, because my paycheck was about to stop.
It was December 2024, and I was supposed to leave for a trip to Bali the very next day with a friend. What was meant to be a joyful escape turned into a fog of overthinking and uncertainty. My mind couldn’t rest; my heart couldn’t feel the joy around me.
When I returned home, I took time to pause. With the help of my friends, I sorted my finances and even took up a new project that paid well. But soon, I felt the same heaviness creeping back — that sense of being stuck in work that drained my energy and dulled my purpose.
So, I made a choice. I stepped away.
For the first time, I allowed myself to truly pause; to reflect, to breathe, and to rebuild. I started learning tools to manage my stress and anxiety, and slowly began reconnecting with myself.
That pause became the turning point of my life; the beginning of everything that followed.
You can either let them break you or let them shape you.
💜 I chose to rise and rebuild.
And now, I help other women do the same; to lead with confidence, live with balance, and thrive without burning out.
