With two master’s degrees—one in Religious Education and another in Educational Leadership—I bring over 20 years of pastoral guidance and 17 years of classroom and school-based leadership experience. My journey in education began humbly as a substitute bus driver and evolved into roles as a certified classroom teacher (6–12 Social Sciences, K–12 P.E.) and now as a Dean of Students. I’ve walked with students through the toughest years of middle and high school and trained teachers in building strong classroom cultures grounded in trust, clear expectations, and consistent routines.
But Teacher Talk wasn’t born out of success—it was born out of burnout. After suffering stress-induced facial paralysis, I began the slow, intentional work of recovery. Today, I help educators heal from burnout, reclaim their purpose, and restore joy to the classroom. Because I believe teaching shouldn’t cost you your well-being—and that healing is possible.
