Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Labeling: Assist with sourcing and labeling garment images for training datasets, focusing on categorization by type, color, and style.
• Model Development Support: Collaborate with senior engineers to train convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for garment detection and classification.
• Feature Extraction and Analysis: Contribute to identifying garment features like patterns, shapes, and styles to improve model accuracy.
• Testing and Evaluation: Help test the model on various datasets, evaluating performance, identifying improvements, and troubleshooting issues.
• Documentation: Maintain clear records of datasets, experimental findings, and model performance to support ongoing R&D.

Requirements:

• Education: Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and CNNs. Experience with Python and machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras) is a plus.
• Object Detection: Familiarity with object detection algorithms (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN) and image processing using OpenCV.
• Data Handling Skills: Comfortable with data collection, annotation, and preprocessing. Familiarity with data annotation tools is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Open Source Interest: Experience with open-source projects is advantageous.
• Learning Enthusiasm: Eager to learn and apply new techniques in a computer vision project.

Hiring Process:

1. Technical Interview: Covers CNNs, object detection frameworks, and relevant coursework or projects.
2. Coding/Task Assessment: Practical task or coding assignment related to data preprocessing or computer vision.
3. Final Interview: Includes pair programming.
4. Offer: Internship offer extended to the selected candidate.
