Before I share that story, let me share a little about myself. I’m an Indian girl, born and brought up in a middle-class family. I moved to Malaysia 6 years back, with tons of dreams and aspirations. But with no network, no brand, and no contacts... let's just say I had no riches too!

To cut to chase: a few years later, I have it ALL. I'm not bragging - I’m genuinely humbled to look back at where I came from, to where I am now as a founder of an awarded Digital Agency and Digital Academy (that has coached more than 10,000 professionals in less a year)! 

If you are wondering what made it possible, I would credit it to that one stupid thought I had: to run away from the noise and express myself, somewhere, silently. And that landed me on Linkedin, where nobody knew me (and I hide away from everyone), and I could just chase my inner voice.

Doing this not only helped me realize my self-worth, but I also:

- Grew my LinkedIn network from 400 to 30,000+

- Spoke at #TEDx and 110 other events too

- Received multiple awards and notable recognitions

- Got 70% of my paying clients with NO paid ads or cold calling

Today I thank myself for that stupid but honest thought (so #JustDoIt, don't overthink). I only have one complaint, and that’s that it took me almost 3 years... I wish I did it faster.
