I’m Vasilisa (Basila), a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) based in Jerusalem. I support women, their partners, and sometimes their mothers and grandmothers with clear, evidence‑based information about birth, breastfeeding, and the early weeks after.

My work combines clinical knowledge with a long‑standing interest in postpartum traditions from the Gulf, the wider Arab world, and neighboring regions. I help families sort what feels meaningful for them today from what may no longer fit, without judgment or pressure.

أنا فاسيليسا (باسيلة)، مثقفة ولادة حاصلة على شهادة لاماز (LCCE) ومستشارة رضاعة دولية معتمدة (IBCLC) أعيش في القدس. أقدّم دعماً للنساء ولشركائهن، وأحياناً للأمهات والجدّات، من خلال معلومات واضحة ومبنية على الأدلة حول الحمل والولادة والرضاعة والأسابيع الأولى بعد الولادة.

يجمع عملي بين المعرفة السريرية واهتمام طويل بتقاليد النفاس في الخليج والعالم العربي والمناطق القريبة. أساعد العائلات على تمييز ما يزال مناسباً وذو معنى لحياتهن اليوم، عمّا قد لا يناسبهن بعد الآن، من دون أحكام أو ضغط.
