POV: Your goal is to get your press handstand this year 🔥💫


Mastering the press handstand isn’t just about brute strength — it’s about unlocking a combination of flexibility, control, and body awareness. That’s why jump-throughs, L-sits, and floating forward with control are my go-to drills for building the foundation you need.


  • Jump-Throughs: They build your straight-arm strength and refine that all-important belly-to-thigh compression connection.
  • L-Sits: These are a powerhouse drill for strengthening your hip flexors, core, and shoulders. Not to mention, they teach you how to hold your legs high—a key skill for floating up into a press.
  • Floating Forward with Control: This is the game-changer for building control in transitions. It mimics the movement pattern of a press handstand and helps you strengthen your wrists, develop core stability, and refine your balance.

FAQs

💬 What do I need for the challenge?

A yoga mat, wall space for support, 2 blocks, a pair of socks, a strap (where you can hook and loop), if you need more support, prepare a bench/ 2 chairs. If you have sensitive wrists, prepare wrist tapes & parallettes. Prepare 2 therapy balls for rest & rehab days. Not to forget..the commitment and willingness to show up and try! 


💬 What if I’m new to yoga?

This challenge is beginner-friendly with modifications to meet you at your level. We'll use (a lot of) props to support you in your practice so make sure you have them to set yourself up for success.


💬 What if I’m a seasoned practitioner?

We’ll incorporate progressions and variations to build on the foundation. You’ll receive these options to challenge yourself.


💬 What if I miss a day?

Add this to your calendar and treat it like any other important meeting. If you miss a day, make an effort to catch up, but never let more than two days pass without getting back on track.


💬 Can I access the videos after the challenge ends?

The videos will be available after the challenge ends, however, I’ll be rolling out new monthly challenges to keep things fresh - stay tuned and let me know what else you'd like to work on!


💬 If I don’t complete the challenge, may I request for a refund?

Unfortunately we’re unable to issue any refunds once you’ve signed up, so please make sure you’re 100% invested in this 🙂

If you happen to miss a day, you’ll have access to catch up anytime during the challenge. You can also carve out a couple of hours in one day to catch up with the sessions.
