The encouraging news is, you can supplement to bolster your immune system against HPV. The ideal supplements and dosages vary based on individual needs.

Papillex has developed two nutritional supplements grounded in the latest research on HPV. Our products are crafted with nutrients linked to HPV infections and tested to support immune response against viruses like HPV.

This blog delves into our supplements to aid you in choosing the best option for yourself.

What to Know About Papillex™

Papillex™ is a nutritional supplement designed to rectify nutrient deficiencies commonly seen in individuals with HPV.

The supplement includes beta carotene, vitamin E, vitamin C, folate, selenium, and indole-3-carbinol. These nutrients are consistently low in those with persistent HPV infections, and higher levels are linked with HPV improvements due to their potent antioxidant and cancer-inhibiting properties.

Papillex™ also includes immune-modulating compounds like astragalus, reishi, and green tea extract. Research shows these compounds possess strong anti-viral properties that enhance immune function to tackle infections.

Together, the supplement provides comprehensive nutrient and immune support.

The micronutrients in Papillex™ can aid general health, especially if your diet lacks fruits and vegetables, if you struggle with nutrient absorption, or if you experience high stress levels. However, due to its Vitamin A content, Papillex™ is not recommended during pregnancy.

Dosage: For those with HPV and/or cervical dysplasia, take two capsules twice daily—once in the morning and once in the afternoon, 2-3 hours away from food. As dysplasia improves and HPV clears, reduce to 2 capsules daily for maintenance.

What to Know About AHCC®

AHCC® is a recent addition to the Papillex lineup.

Launched in 2020, AHCC® is backed by studies supporting its role in eliminating high-risk HPV infections. The supplement features a mushroom extract from the shiitake mushroom, unique and produced solely by Amino Up Chemical Co. in Japan.

AHCC® activates the immune system by stimulating cytokines, NK cells, and dendritic cells, fostering a robust immune response against viruses.

Research on AHCC® is ongoing, particularly its effectiveness against viral infections like HPV. In a randomized control trial, participants taking AHCC® for 3-6 months showed a 66.7% clearance rate of high-risk HPV, compared to the general clearance rate of 0-10%.

AHCC® is generally well-tolerated and supports overall health, though it might be too stimulating for those with autoimmune conditions. It may suit individuals prone to colds, flu, and frequent infections.

Dosage: For active HPV infections and cervical dysplasia, take 2 capsules twice daily, away from food, for 3-6 months. Then, reduce to 2 capsules daily for another 3-6 months. AHCC® has not been studied for use beyond one year.

Ensure the AHCC product you purchase has a registered TM or R sign next to its name. Products lacking this label are not sourced from the authentic AHCC provider and don't contain the clinically-researched compounds.

The Power Couple

You can combine AHCC® and Papillex™ for enhanced support. This pairing offers both micronutrient and increased immune support against HPV.
