Lithuania vs Serbia Live Stream FRRE FIBA World Cup 2023

The Lithuanian star centre Jonas Valanciunas is the team’s top scorer so far this World Cup. However, this means he’s averaging only 13.6 points per game as the Lithuanians like to distribute the scoring evenly. Valanciunas has yet to score more than 15 points in a match during this tournament.

Now he will be up against one of the best centres in Europe, Serbia’s Nikola Milutinov, and Valanciunas will find scoring even harder. Considering all that we don’t think that he will score more than 14 points in this match.

The FIBA World Cup 2023 has been full of excitement and intense moments. It looks set to get even better with the quarter-finals starting on September 5.

Lithuania Form

Lithuania enter the knockout stage on the back of a stunning upset of the United States that maintained their perfect record.

The Lithuanians cruised through the first round group stage, comfortably winning all three games.

They beat Egypt 93-67 in their opening game and followed that up with a 96-66 blowout of Mexico and a 91-71 success against Montenegro.

Lithuania then dispatched Greece, 92-67, in their opening second round game, swiftly securing their place in the quarter-finals.

The best was yet to come though, as the Lithuanians knocked off tournament favourites, the United States, 110-104 last time out.

Serbia Form

Serbia have advance to the quarter-finals of the FIBA World Cup by winning four of their five games so far.

The Serbians negotiated the first round group stage with ease as they reeled off three one-sided wins.

They opened with a 105-63 demolition of China, and then backed up that victory with a 94-77 victory over Puerto Rico and a 115-83 win against South Sudan.

Serbia failed to make it four-in-a-row as they lost 78-76 to Italy in their first game of the second round, but they bounced back immediately.

They crushed the Dominican Republic, 112-79, to book their place in the knockout phase of the tournament.
