Five Things To Share

011 // Five Apps That Help Me Remember Things

Hi everyone!

My memory isn't as good as it was before, so I've been relying on apps to help me remember things more and more.

This month I'm sharing five of the ones I use the most.

(Some of these are redundant, and the set-up can definitely be streamlined, but I prefer to use different apps so that I can compartmentalize.)

I hope you can find some of these useful too!

- Francis

Google Calendar

- I used to prefer planners and organizers, but with how fast things change, an online calendar is just more practical these days. There are lots of other options, but I like how Google Calendar syncs with other Google apps, helping make things more streamlined and efficient.

Google Keep

"Save your thoughts wherever you are."

- My go to app for short, post-it type notes. Simple and easily accessible. Aside from quick notes, I also use the alarm function a lot (for things things that don't make it to the calendar), as well as the occasional checklist.

***

Notion

"Work feels better here."

- For longer notes and listing down things I keep track of. Notion can be a bit overwhelming at first, but it's not that complicated once you get the hang of it. Mobile app has improved as well.

***

Todoist

"Organize your work and life, finally."

- I use this as my habit tracker, helping me remember / keep track of my recurring daily and weekly to do's.

***

Remember The Milk

"The smart to-do app for busy people."

- Another to do list app. This one I use to keep track of my bills and payables. I like the more flexible notifications - it can even be configured to send reminders via email.
