I spent most of my life as a people pleaser who never said no. 

My wake-up call came after more than 25 years of marriage, when I found out my husband had been unfaithful. I kept it to myself for 18 months, trying desperately to hold on to the life I knew, no matter the cost to myself.

After three years on my own, I am the happiest I have been in decades. 

At 56, I realized there was more to life. I have always felt a spiritual connection and sensed this. The power of thought intrigued me, so, instead of traditional therapy, yoga, or retreats, I focused inward to discover who I was. I finally had the time and space, and it felt like the most natural place to start.

So, I read, studied positive psychology, faced my feelings, made mistakes, learned, and finally took responsibility for my life.

I started to find my answers.

​I realized I had chosen to fade into the background, hiding behind my empathy. Over time, I stopped seeking out my own passions and adventures. It seemed easier and safer to support others, being their cheerleader instead of my own.

I am now finally discovering who I AM, and it feels amazing!

I am confident in making decisions, why? because I know what I like and what I dislike.

I am happy and comfortable saying 'no' to things. Why? because I know what I want and what I don't want.

New passions and a sense of purpose are opening up to me. Why? Stopping being a people pleaser opens you up to the freedom to explore new ideas and interests without guilt.

​That’s why I created What Remains is Her, to help other midlife women get out of survival mode. Calm their nervous system and rebuild self-trust.

To finally gain the skills to reveal their true self and build a life of authentic purpose and fulfillment. It's never too late!
