In 2019, Sarah's grandmother passed away unexpectedly. A few months later, on Sarah's 30th birthday, a package arrived, a beautiful cashmere scarf her grandmother had ordered months before, with a handwritten note tucked inside.

"My dearest Sarah," it began, "if you're reading this, I'm probably no longer there to celebrate with you. But I wanted you to know that I thought of you, and I'm so proud of the woman you've become."

That moment, that unexpected gift arriving exactly when it mattered -changed everything.

Sarah realized her grandmother had planned ahead, knowing she might not be there for every milestone. But she'd done it quietly, manually, through handwritten instructions to local shop owners who knew her. What if everyone could do this? What if planning ahead didn't require luck, but was simple, secure, and guaranteed?

That's why we built FutureMemory. Not as a tech platform, but as a human service, one that lets you plan the moments that matter, so your love shows up when it's needed most.

How FutureMemory works

Step-by-step

01 — Choose who receives the gift
You choose the person who will receive the gift. We collect the necessary details: full name, relationship to you, and contact information, so that when the time comes, we can reach them appropriately and ensure the gift is delivered exactly as intended.

02 — Choose the moment
You select a specific future date within the next ten years. This may be a birthday, an anniversary, a graduation, or another meaningful milestone. The date you choose becomes the moment your gesture comes to life.

03 — Choose the type of experience
You choose the kind of experience you would like to give, such as a dinner, a workshop, a trip, flight tickets, or a vacation. You do not select a specific hotel, restaurant, or attraction. Instead, you share your preferences and expectations, and we arrange a suitable experience based on your guidance, availability, location, and circumstances at the time of delivery.

04 — Choose the gift amount
You decide the amount that will be allocated to arrange the gift in the future. This amount is prepaid for a future service and will be used at the time of delivery to organize the selected experience at an equivalent value.

VAT is added in accordance with the giver's country of residence. A fixed service fee of €25 applies.

The gift amount and VAT are fully refundable until the delivery date. The service fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

05 — Write a message to arrive with the gift
You may include a personal message to accompany the gift. This can take the form of a note, a letter, an audio recording, or a video message. You may edit, replace, or remove the message at any time, or choose to add one later.
