Hey friends, I’m Reylia Slaby, a fine art photographer from Japan.

For over 10 years, I’ve been creating photographs rooted in storytelling,  images that blend memory and lived experience. Along the way, I’ve collaborated with brands like Adobe and Nikon, and exhibited both in Japan and internationally.

But what truly drives me is the personal work, the kind of photography that starts with looking inward, asking questions, and letting your images become a reflection of something deeper.

Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of teaching workshops and sharing this process with other,  from small, intimate groups of 5, to lectures and classes of over 200 people. Each time, I’ve seen how powerful it can be when photographers start to connect their personal stories with their art.

That’s exactly what this 5-day challenge is about. I’ll guide you step-by-step through exercises designed to help you uncover your own stories and turn them into photographs that feel meaningful and authentic.
