Bienvenidxs al Circulo Neurodivergente, este es un espacio muy querido para mí porque lo he construido desde mi gran pasión por crear comunidades y mi gran necesidad de tener más espacios para hablar sobre neurodivergencia que no estén centrados en la patologización. 

La neurodivergencia es un fenómeno complejo y sostenerla en un mundo que no está hecho acorde a nuestras necesidades puede ser muy difícil, pero creo profundamente en el poder transformador de la colectividad y en que el primer paso para construir espacios más justos es educándonos más sobre las cosas que nos atraviesan y la potencialidad que hay en ellas, incluida la neurodivergencia. 

Este espacio está construido con bases teóricas del paradigma de la neurodiversidad, que a diferencia del paradigma de la patologización, no entiende la ND como un trastorno o enfermedad, sino como una serie de neurotipos con necesidades específicas. Y, como consecuencia de esto, sus formatos de atención y acompañamiento no están hechos para "curar", "controlar" o "enmascarar" síntomas, sino para construir aproximaciones hechas de acuerdo a las necesidades, fortalezas y áreas de atención de cada neurotipo. 

Este es un lugar para que podamos cuestionar y cambiar las narrativas que el modelo médico nos ha impuesto, pero también para aprender herramientas y estrategias funcionales desde un lugar que no sean la culpa o la vergüenza.
