Every Sunday evening, the Old Town of Chiang Mai transforms into a giant open-air market: a place to pick up crafts and souvenirs, try tasty street food at Buddhist temples converted into food courts for the occasion, and even stop for a restorative foot massage while watching people pass by!

Let's make the most of this vibrant Chiang Mai institution together. We'll meet at one end of the market and walk the road to Thapae Gate, stopping for any shopping, eating, and sightseeing you feel like along the way (have cash at hand!).

If we lose each other in the crowds and break into smaller teams (which we most likely will!), no problem: we can all meet again at one of the bars on the other side of the market for a final drink before the start of the work week. 😉
