Vista del Lago: Your Black-Owned Sanctuary in San Nicolas

Looking for a tranquil getaway right in our own backyard? Look no further! I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at the beautiful Sojourner’s Vista del Lago B&B, a lovely black-owned establishment in San Nicolas de Ibarra, merely a quick bus ride from Lake Chapala.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the amazing hosts – three lovely ladies who have created a true haven for relaxation. The spacious, well-decorated home provided the perfect backdrop for a peaceful retreat.

Waking up to the gentle melodies of birdsong in the early morning and enjoying the serenity of the afternoons was truly rejuvenating. Plus, with the hosts being super attentive and accommodating, it felt like a home away from home!

Whether you’re planning a weekend escape or a longer staycation, I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem. Support local, support black-owned businesses, and treat yourself to an unforgettable experience at this charming Airbnb.
