Hey, book lovers! We’re taking the Silent Book Club to explore one of the most exciting literary events of the year — the Feria Internacional del Libro (FIL) in Guadalajara! 📖🇲🇽

This year’s guest region is Barcelona, bringing a burst of Catalan creativity, art, and storytelling to Mexico. 🇪🇸💫 Expect powerful voices, thought-provoking conversations, and a rich cultural exchange between two vibrant cities.

And here’s a must-see highlight for our Black in Guadalajara community:

✨ Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, author of Americanah and We Should All Be Feminists, will be speaking alongside Cristina Rivera Garza on Saturday, November 29, from 7:00–7:50 PM at the Auditorio Juan Rulfo, Expo Guadalajara (planta baja). 🖤📖

Although we won’t be attending this one as a group, we highly encourage you to go on your own if you can — let’s show support for one of the most inspiring Black Voices in Global Literature! ✊🏾💫
