It was a power packed session with so much information it was crazy!
This i just some of what I managed to summarise!
The 4 C’s which make or break your business:
1. Community
It’s the companions you run with that can build you up or tear you down. Leaders don’t cascade goals, they cascade purpose.
2. Communication
You need to be able to share an idea or a narrative succinctly.
3. Create!
Any form of creation, whether it’s content, strategies, any form of creation is good because it keeps your mind nimble and knowledge abreast to the times.
4. Consistency
Compound effect on consistency is what many call “overnight success". Keep doing the right thing consistently.
Life of an entrepreneur is
1. visibility
2. credibility
3. then profitability
How do you start your own business
1) How do you figure out your ideal business target and person.
If you hate your target audience, you won’t love your market
2) Understand your ideal customers pains, challenges, and barriers
3) Draw 3 F’s around your ideal customer
a- who do they FOLLOW
b- what do they FUND
c- where do they FREQUENT
Stages of starting a company
Phase 1- Validation
Phase 2- Product market fit
Phase 3- Product channel fit
Phase 4- Innovation
There was a good bonus question asked by Gary Koay, "How do you find the right partners to start a business with?"
To find a good business partner, these are good red/green flags to be aware of
1. Alignment of values
2. Work towards a common goal
3. Have a united vision of what the company should be like
