I attribute my hunger for growth to reading Precious Hearts Romances books.
You might laugh out loud, but please hear me out! đ€Ș
If it werenât for reading Tagalog pocketbooks, I wouldnât love reading English novels.
If it werenât for novels, I wouldnât have fallen in love with self-help books.
If it werenât for self-help books, I wouldnât have started applying what I learned and attending paid courses to be better at what I do.
Boy, we gotta start somewhere.
And thatâs why THEREâS POWER IN STARTING SMALLâfrom low commitment to big commitment.
I donât think we all understand the gravity of the phrase ânever stop learning.â
But thereâs a catch: to make it sustainable, we gotta start with something small, and thatâs fine.
We arenât aiming to be the best here.
We are aiming to continuously do it so this habit of ours becomes the one that molds our identity.
Why am I all for learning?
Countless benefits.
One recent win happened this year.
In the last 6 months, I saw the change in my life.
As a thriving infopreneur, I knew I had to learn skills that are connected with what I do to see how the whole picture works.
I learned how to develop a product, create sales pages and scripts, restudied sales and marketing, and read books about how business can run itself in the long run.
All while not skipping workout sessions three times a week and attending Feast for spirituality and guidance.
The past 6 months were wild, but I wouldnât trade them for any other months.
Itâs those months that I learned my capacity and what else I can go after.
This all happened because of reading pocketbooks.
Now, if you donât push for learning, these are what will happen (and I bet you wonât like them happening to you):
â Nothing happens.
Youâll be stuck in the same place again.
The cost of staying is hefty compared to the loss youâll incur for starting.
â You wouldnât see your full potential.
The most successful people in the world always encourage us to fail often.
Because itâs through failing that they realize what theyâre cut out for.
Through trying, youâll know if taking the shot is worth the try.
â Youâll always be haunted by "what if" and regrets.
People say that you go to the cemetery so you wonât fill your life with regrets.
And why is this a blessing?
Why?
You see numerous dead people whose songs werenât sung, books werenât published, hobbies werenât accomplished.
The blessing comes from the wisdom that you can still make it happen because you STILL HAVE A CHANCE.
I donât highlight that you read pocketbooks but instead start small.
Because when you do, youâre in for a good ride!
đ If you plant good things, youâll reap good things in the future.
Better things lead to better results.
With reading, you can develop good comprehension.
You become a quick learner.
You can process things by hearing instructions for the first time.
đ Start with your hobby and let it flourish.
Itâs natural for humans to want another flavor, another scent, another restaurant to try to remove the boredom of trying the same taste, same fragrance, same food over and over again.
So as you start small, you will catch yourself adding more challenges to spice up life.
This is the reason why World Boxing Champion Manny Pacquiao is also into basketball and chess.
đ This can lead to ideas and skills monetization.
We live in a world where you can create a business with zero capital with just your brain, a keyboard, and skills.
Your fully grown interest can be your irresistible offer.
The knowledge that youâve compounded for a long time can be a source of your additional income.
Have you recently developed systems to make work easier?
Have they eased someone elseâs job?
If it helps you and it solves other peopleâs problems, you can turn that into a business.
I can go on about this, but it would be so much better to teach it in one go.

I hope by now, you wonât overlook the power of starting small.
Even us, started like a tiny apple seed.
Why focus on attempting to change all at once when you can make big changes in your lifeâone small step at a time.
Let me know what's your favorite part of this newsletter! I would love to know.
Until next time,
