In Python, a function is a block of code that performs a specific task. Functions help you organize your code and make it more reusable.

To define a function in Python, you use the def keyword followed by the function name and a set of parentheses (). The code block within the function is indented.

You can also pass arguments to a function. Arguments are values that are passed to the function when it is called, and they allow the function to receive input and perform a specific task with that input. To pass arguments to a function, you include them within the parentheses when calling the function.
