30-Day Take Flight is your step-by-step path to mastering crow, side crow, tripod headstand variations and transitions in a safe and progressive manner.


In under 30 minutes a day, you’ll build strength, balance, and control through intelligent breakdowns and progressive flows to float into these poses effortlessly.

Crow Pose is the first arm balance I learnt and needless to say...I face-planted countless times 😂


Most people think arm balances are only about shoulder strength. But the truth is: it’s mostly balance.


The real skill is learning how to find your center of gravity, knowing when and how to shift your weight forward to find that sweet spot of balance in a predictable and safe manner (no more face-plants!) 😌

WEEK 3 (19–25 Jan): Tripod Headstand

WEEK 4 (26 Jan – 2 Feb): Arm Balances + Inversion Transitions

Understand the why behind the poses - wrists, shoulders, core, weight shift, and common mistakes to avoid.

2️⃣ Strength & Prep Practice
Targeted drills that build the exact strength you need (no random conditioning).

3️⃣ Transitions & Play
Learn how to move into and out of these arm balances smoothly.

4️⃣ Flow to Peak Pose
Take what we've learnt in the breakdowns and put them into a guided flow that allows you to work on these transitions confidently.

5️⃣ Stretch & Rehab Days

Because rest is equally important 😌

Jyan is a certified yoga, acroyoga, and mat Pilates instructor based in Singapore with a passion for traveling and exploring the world.

As a former competitive athlete and ballroom dancer, she has always loved challenging herself by exploring and pushing her limits - both physically and mentally.

Through her classes, she hopes to guide you in strengthening your body, stretching to your limits (literally), and growing in ways you never imagined.

Just a quick note...

Take Flight isn’t for everyone.

It’s not for people looking for a magic cue
or a “5 tips to arm balance by Friday” situation.

Because that’s not how I learned either.


When I first tried crow, I remember staring at the mat, elbows bent, heart racing like something terrible was about to happen, convinced I’d faceplant the second my feet left the floor.


So I changed the way I practiced and started using props.
I broke the pose into tiny, almost unglamorous pieces.
I leaned forward…then leaned back.
Over and over again.


And somewhere between the shaking arms and the failed attempts, my body figured it out before my mind did.


That’s what Take Flight is built on.

Not just tricks to 'get the pose',
but ways to make arm balances accessible -
meeting your body where it actually is,
instead of where you think it should be.


This isn’t for people who want instant results
or who get frustrated the moment things feel awkward.


It’s for the ones who feel drawn to arm balances
even though they’re scared of falling.
The ones who know this practice is about trust - not talent.


You won’t be promised a perfect crow.
But you will learn how to use support, props, and progressions to build real strength and the kind of confidence that stays when the mat feels unfamiliar.


Because if I had doubted myself 12 years ago...
