I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor and the founder of Hineni Parenting, a space for parents who want to practice presence instead of perfection.
In my clinical work, I support adolescents and families navigating complex emotional challenges. Over time I noticed that many thoughtful, values-driven parents do not need more discipline strategies. They need tools that help them stay grounded in hard moments.
Hineni Parenting grew from that realization.
Hineni means “Here I am.” It is a response of presence. In parenting, that often looks like choosing connection before correction, especially when emotions are high.
My work integrates:
• Emotion Coaching, based on the research of Dr. John Gottman
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, a values-based behavioral framework
• Jewish ethical wisdom and tradition
Inside this community we focus on structured, practical tools that help parents:
• Recognize emotional patterns in themselves and their teens
• Respond instead of react
• Strengthen connection during conflict
• Anchor their parenting in clear values
This is not therapy. It is skill-building, consultation, and guided reflection.

Parenting is not about having all the answers.
It is about choosing to show up.
