Raising Jewish kids today isn’t simple.
For parents raising Jewish kids here in Salt Lake.
Between social media, identity questions, rising antisemitism, and the quiet hope that we can do better than what we inherited, many parents feel like they are figuring this out as they go.
Join us for a relaxed brunch and conversation at Anna’s Restaurant as we explore what it means to raise resilient, grounded, menschy kids in an anxious, fast-changing world.
This is not a lecture.
It’s a chance to connect, think together, and leave feeling a little less alone.
Together we’ll reflect on the pressures families are facing, share perspective drawn from Jewish wisdom and modern psychology, and create space for honest, supportive conversation.
Guest speakers:
Rabbi Sam Spector will join the conversation to offer insight and perspective from Jewish tradition and community life.
Yifat Levenstein, a local Jewish mom, psychotherapist and researcher, will share her insights into minority identities and resilience.
What you’ll gain:
• perspective on raising Jewish kids today
• connection with other parents navigating similar challenges
• insights from Jewish wisdom and modern psychology
• space for honest, supportive conversation
Children welcome if needed
Hosted by Yotam Livnat, Kol Ami kid, educator, parent, and family therapist.
