Gentleway Systems LLC is a healthcare-focused training organization dedicated to preventing escalation, reducing restraint, and promoting trauma-informed crisis response in clinical environments.

Founded by Clifford Cartagena, BSN RN, Gentleway Systems integrates neuroscience, therapeutic communication, and practical safety strategy into a structured framework known as PMAB-TGS (Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behaviors – The Gentleway System).

Our mission is simple:

Prevent escalation.
Protect patients.
Protect healthcare professionals.

Clifford Cartagena is an ADHS-Approved Memory Care Services Instructor and Co-Founder of Arizona Care Horizon Institute. With over 20 years of nursing experience across psychiatric and medical settings, he brings real-world clinical insight into every training session.
