Our member Elvan and her mum Ms. Fahriye are welcoming us for a real Turkish Breakfast at their home! 😍 There is a poem in Turkish: "I don’t know what you think about eating in general, but breakfast must have something to do with happiness." While having our breakfast, she will explain the cultural meaning of breakfast in Turkey and will translate mom’s “home-made” recipes about the things you are eating if you would like to know more. Menu:

• Special "Tarhana" soup before starting • Home-made black and green olives • Home-made olive oil with seasonings

• Home-made Lyutenitsa breakfast sauce • Three different kinds of Turkish cheese • Menemen • Kaymak • Pişi • Walnuts, tomatoes, cucumbers from our family garden and of course Turkish Tea!!!

Turkish coffee will be served at the end as the origin of the word “Breakfast/Kahvaltı” is Kahve-altı, meaning “under coffee/before coffee”, so it is not a proper Turkish breakfast if you don’t drink Turkish coffee at the end! The fee will be ₺600 cash per person that we pay them at their home.
