Acerca de

Managers are being asked to hold conversations they were promoted into but never trained for. This 2-hour live training fills that gap.

🚨If you are a people manager, this training addresses a skill you are likely to need sooner than you expect. Be prepared when your team member says to you "do you have a minute to talk?"

Last date to register : 30th January 2026.

About this training

Empathy and active listening rank among the top 10 skills workers need today (World Economic Forum, Future of Jobs report 2025).

Yet when employees disclose personal adversity — illness, caregiving strain, grief, experiences of abuse, mental health challenges, or other life stressors — many managers feel unsure about what to say, what not to say, and where their boundaries lie. As a manager, supporting your team is crucial — but responding to personal trauma or adversity isn’t intuitive. Without the right tools, good intentions can accidentally break trust and cause employees to withdraw, or undermine psychological safety within teams. This training isn’t about therapy or counselling. It is about learning how to respond in the moment with steadiness, clear language, and appropriate boundaries — so employees feel supported and managers don’t carry more than their role requires. You will leave with practical frameworks and language you can use immediately in your next sensitive conversation.

Why This Training is for you

- Empowers you to respond with compassion and skill — no more freezing, fixing, or overstepping when employees share personal challenges. - Solves a critical leadership gap — guiding you to handle sensitive conversations with clarity and confidence.

- Helps you move from being a manager to a trusted leader

What past participants shared

“I’m learning to hold space instead of moving too quickly towards solutions.”

“I learned that offering help isn’t always helpful — steadiness matters more.”

“Clear, practical ways to co-regulate and hold space without overstepping.”

“It made me more aware of my own reactions — and how they shape conversations.”

Training will cover

  • Why this is a core leadership skill
  • What to say in the moment
  • From reacting to responding
  • Boundaries and resource building
  • Closing reflections

Note: This training will be live on Zoom (sent after registration). There will be no recording. Cameras are optional, and there will be no breakout rooms or group activities.
